In 2018, religious from all over Ireland and the world will gather together to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Nano Nagle.
This site showcases some of the early letters of Nano Nagle (1718-1784), which are housed in the archive of the Ursuline Convent Blackrock, Cork. These letters trace Nano Nagle's involvement in establishing Catholic poor schools and a branch of the Ursuline order in Cork city during the enforcement of the Penal Laws.
